OpenADR Specification Documents
The technology outlined in the communications specification has been in use for several years and the purpose of this standard development process is to reduce cost, promote interoperability among DR technologies, and allow wide spread price or emergency response in commercial and industrial facilities.
The OpenADR Version 1.0 was released as a CEC report and contains recent specifications and data models after rigorous review period, including the review and comment process by the public and OpenADR Technical Advisory Group (TAG). This report was donated to standard development organizations OASIS and UCA for formal standards development with goal to migrate to other international standards bodies such as IEC.
